Dear Pike Descendants

Before I and my fellow Baby Boomers make their final trip around the sun I want to do everything reasonably possible to make sure Claude and Dollye’s family history is preserved and available for future generations.  The sheer volume of history hidden in various basements, attics, barns and digital archives boggles the mind. To that end a small group consisting of Family Historian Georgia Schoelz, Photography Consultant Tom Nash and Web Master Phil Stewart have created the Claude & Dollye Pike Historical Society. The public face of the society is this web site showcasing Pike Family genealogy, research, photos, historical documents and artifacts.

If you need an overview of the last thirty years of Pike genealogy research. I recommend you read the manuscript titled The Family History of Claude Cloverdale Pike.

Thank you for visiting our site and enjoy your stay.

Sincerely,

Thomas Dean Pike – Grandson of Claude Cloverdale and Dollye Pike
